"New York City-based artist Tara McPherson is currently working on a new mural (called “Stellar Revolution”) on the Cards Against Humanity building to replace the Blek le Rat work that was destroyed. McPherson said she hopes other cities will eventually enact similar mural protection ordinances."
“It’s a way to protect so much work, time, love and energy that goes into creating these murals,” - Tara McPherson
Tara and her most recent mural, 'Stellar Revolution', stand proud at her new home, The Cards Against Humanity Theater! Every September thousands of inspired creators converge on 18 blocks in Downtown Las Vegas to enjoy a world that celebrates the beauty in ourselves and our surroundings. A world in which music and art transform, positivity prevails, imagination overwhelms and creativity thrives.
Life is Beautiful’s very-own “Crime on Canvas” art exhibit returns for the third year. Curated by M Modern Gallery, owners Jay Nailor & MiShell Modern enlist some of the world’s most prominent artists, allowing festival-goers a chance to view and purchase original artwork and rare prints.
Tara's contribution, 'Precarious Position', explores the cycle of creation and destruction.

Trihydrogen cations are the most abundant molecular ions in interstellar space. Created by collisions with cosmic rays exciting hydrogen molecules into a positive ionic charge. In their destruction create water, carbon, and photons, aiding newly formed stars in their cooling process. The simplest element in the universe and one of the most powerful!
